Today, the Austin Peay State University Mathematics Clinic officially opened for the semester, presenting free tutoring sessions guided by graduate teaching assistants.
Offering help in math courses with codes 1000, 1010, 1530, 1710, 1730, 1910, 1920, 4321 and 5321, as well as statistics courses with codes 3250 and 5050, the math clinic is another resource that APSU offers to support students academic journey.
Located in the Maynard Building, room 133, the math clinic provides a welcoming environment for students to work through difficult assessments, clarify their struggling concepts and gain confidence in their mathematical abilities.
“Our math clinic is a wonderful resource that assists students in succeeding. It is a vibrant community where students can enhance their mathematical and statistical knowledge. Moreover, we have clinic tutors skilled in data analytics and programming in R and Python,” said professor Ramanjit Sahi, graduate coordinator for the mathematical finance concentration.
Sahi also noted that the Mathematics Clinic is open to all APSU students, not solely those in science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary; students can drop by anytime during operating hours with questions, assignments and study materials.
Don’t struggle alone—take advantage of this opportunity.
