As Austin Peay State University welcomes students back for the 2024 fall semester, many locations on campus are hosting events to help them connect with others and learn their way around campus.
On Aug. 30th, APSU’s Newton Military Family Resource Center hosted a welcome back lunch from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Students got the opportunity to socialize, talk to the staff of the Newton Center and enter a raffle to win prizes such as shirts, hats, dorm needs and more.
The Newton Center will continue to have more events for students over the semester. Their upcoming events will be career workshops on Sept. 4th, Sept. 7th and a Veteran Service Day on Sept. 11th.
