APSU hosted their Open Invitational at Liberty Park on Saturday, Sept. 23, where both the Men’s and Women’s teams finished in second place.
Memphis finished in first place in both the Men’s and Women’s competitions, APSU came in second and Evansville finished third.
APSU sophomore Nash Young finished in fourth, while junior Wesley Gray finished in fifth in the Men’s Competition.
Emmaculate Kipaglat, a junior at APSU, finished in first place among the women competing.
The Govs hope to perform strong at the next event, which will be next Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Greater Louisville Classic, located in Louisville, Kentucky.
