Events are underway all over the city of Clarksville for viewing the historic total solar eclipse.
APSU has multiple viewing locations including the APSU Farm and Fortera Stadium and events happening for kids in the Dunn Center.
Liberty Park, Pinnacle Family Fun Center, Beachaven Winery also have events scheduled for the viewing.
The eclipse will begin in Clarksville at 11:57 a.m. and will last for almost three hours. Totality will occur at 1:26 p.m. and will last 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
According to ClarksvilleNow, flights to monitor traffic and provide video/photos will be continuous throughout the day with a break in overflights around 10:30 a.m., CDT, to avoid conflicting with a NASA balloon launch from several locations around the region.
