The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Watch for Montgomery, Steward, Robertson, Benton, Houston, Humphreys, Dickson and Cheatham counties. The watch is effective until 9:15 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12.
For some counties, including Montgomery, the watch will be in effect until Tuesday, Aug. 13 morning.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect due to cluster of showers and thunderstorms from the past week and that are still expected throughout the area.
