APSU added over 650 parking spaces to the southwest side of campus through the addition of the old Jenkins and Wynne property. The university lists these spaces as overflow parking and any APSU parking pass can park in these lots.
APSU’s Office of Public Safety and Campus Police Department released an updated map and parking policy guide with information about new parking spaces and other changes in APSU parking rules. In addition to the new lots at the Jenkins and Wynne property, all campus resident parking is now coded as silver and two gravel lots are now paved.
All residents will receive silver parking passes and residents can park in any lots currently marked as silver or orange. Campus Police will change all the orange lots to silver in the upcoming weeks.
Lot 2, located at the corner of Robb Avenue and Forbes Street, and Lot 12, located off Ford Street, are now paved. Lot 2 is zoned as commuter and Lot 12 is designated as overflow parking.
Parking for the new Wayne and Marianne Ard Building, formerly known as the Church of Christ Student Center, at the corner of University Street and College Street is zoned as faculty and staff parking.
