This blog doesn’t necessarily have to do with money, but it can still be applied.
What is success?
Everyone has their own different views and perspectives on what success is. For one person success could be happiness, while another may see it as financial freedom. The definition of success is going to be different for everyone. But how do you achieve your personal success?
In the previous blog I talked about attracting money. The same philosophy can be used to attract success or be successful.
In an interview, Dr. Robert H. Schuller once said, “These principles relate to everyone, to the young person who is career-oriented, to the student who’s trying to get into the university or post graduate school. They related to a husband and wife trying to build a happy relationship. They relate to teenager who wants to know, ‘what do I do with my life?’ They relate to the man who’s retired. They relate to someone who’s fighting the battle of cancer.
You and you alone are going to decide what your future is going to be. No one else has the power to set your dreams free. If you have a dream, no matter how beautiful but impossible it may be, you are the only one who has the legal authority to write and sign the death sentence to your dreams. Don’t ever do that! Set your dreams free, don’t sentence them to be executed by your negative thoughts. Set them free, and let them find friends that can help the dreams come true,”
No matter what your definition of success is, following your dreams is a big part to achieving your personal success.
Living a positive life is a big also a big part to become successful; thinking positive thoughts will go a long way, and also help you to be happy. Now I understand that sometimes bad things happen. When bad things happen, you might struggle to find the positives in life. You are not responsible for things you cannot control, but you are responsible for your attitude towards them. You have to get up and keep moving forward. That is what’s life’s about. Remember after the rain comes the rainbow.
You have to take charge of your life and take responsibility. Don’t blame other people, and don’t depend on other people to help you achieve success. As Chris J. Witting said, “when you stop depending on other people to make your life turn out the way you want and realize that you have all the control, you can start to achieve your goals” Take charge of your life and be responsible for your actions. Every decision you make will you closer or farther from success.
These principles will help you achieve the success you want in your life, but simply reading them does nothing if you do not apply them to your life. Do what you love, live a positive life and take charge.
