CLARKSVILLE — Fort Campbell’s three-year-long construction and renovation project at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital has come to an official end.
The Leaf-Chronicle of Clarksville (http://leafne.ws/1lWyvqM ) reports that BACH’s commander, Col. Telita Crosland, and others unveiled the hospital’s new Behavioral Health Wing, Mother-Baby Unit and helipad during a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, Dec. 17, outside the hospital.
The $68 million project consolidated the Adult Behavioral Health and Child and Family Behavioral Health System, creating an entire wing dedicated to behavioral-health care.
Crosland says the updates will ensure that the hospital can deliver quality care to soldiers, retirees and their families.
In addition to the expanded service, the hospital also opened a new emergency center earlier this year and renovated its administrative building, adding about 4,600 square feet of space.
