Callee’s Too Sports Bar at 1962 Fort Campbell Blvd. has been placed on the Fort Campbell off-limits list following a vehicle shooting that occurred in the early morning of Thursday, July 31.
“The decision to place Callee’s Too on the list was made due to conditions existing at the establishment that are deemed detrimental to the health, welfare and safety of Fort Campbell soldiers and their families,” said Director of Fort Campbell Public Affairs Robert Jenkins in a press release. The addition of Callee’s Too to the off-limits list is intended to help maintain a safe environment for soldiers and their families living in Clarksville.
Soldiers who are found visiting establishments on the off-limits list can be prosecuted according to Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, concerning “failure to obey order or regulation.”
Businesses placed on the off-limits list may appeal the decision to the Armed Forces Disciplinary Control Board, which meets every three months to review the list. According to Jenkins, “Businesses placed on the off-limits list have been removed in the past following corrective actions and the Board’s approval.”
