Assistant Vice President for Finance and Administration Tim Hurst passed away the morning of Thursday, March 17. He was 58.
Hurst began his professional career at APSU in 2007 after working at Middle Tennessee State University from 2000 to 2007.
Hurst was a member of Ariesnet and the Sunrise Rotary Club. Additionally, he was a Mason and served on boards for Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan and the Tennessee Board of Regents.
Hurst is survived by his wife, Patty Hurst; two sons, Ryan Qader and Joseph Hurst of Tennessee; two daughters, Leanne Ensor and husband Barry, of Kentucky and Cheyanne Migliaccio of Tennessee; a sister, Gwen Pennington of Alabama; and granddaughter Kayla Ensor of Kentucky.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 23, at 6 p.m., at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Ensor officiating.
